Steve Vonriepen
Steve Vonriepen is a seasoned tattoo artist whose work has left an indelible mark on the tattoo community, particularly in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he has called Queen Street Tattoo his home for over a decade. A traditionalist with a modern edge, he now lives and works here in Des Moines at electric Diamond 10 Months out of the year, spending the other 2 working in Hawaii.
Steve's journey into the tattoo world began in Philadelphia in 1993. His passion for alternative forms of art, ignited by a love for graffiti, led him to explore tattooing as an expressive medium.
After honing his craft in Philadelphia, Steve spent another ten years in New York City, further refining his skills and developing his signature style. Today, he brings his unique artistic vision to Hawaii, where he blends traditional tattooing techniques with contemporary influences, creating powerful and timeless designs.
